Conneaut School Board holds three public meetings Oct. 7

The board's monthly work session starts at 7 p.m., after committee meetings on buildings and grounds and on district policy.

The Conneaut School Board and two of its committees will hold public meetings Wednesday, Oct. 7, starting at 5:30 p.m. in Linesville.

The district serves about 1,700 students across 319 square miles of western Crawford County. It covers the boroughs of Conneaut Lake, Conneautville, Linesville and Springboro. It also covers the townships of Beaver, Conneaut, East Fallowfield, Greenwood, North Shenango, Pine, Sadsbury, Spring, Summerhill, Summit and West Fallowfield.

Meeting schedule

• 5:30 p.m.: Buildings and Grounds Committee. Central Administration conference room, 219 West School Drive, Linesville.

• 6 p.m.: Policy Committee. Alice Schafer Annex gym/cafeteria.

• 7 p.m.: Board work session. Alice Schafer Annex gym/cafeteria.

The board uses work sessions to discuss items before it votes on them at a later meeting.

Agendas
Under the state Sunshine Act, the district posts each agenda at least 24 hours before the meeting. Agendas go up on the district's AgendaManager site, app.agendamanager.com/conneautsd, and in the display cases at the entrances to the Central Administration building.
